BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL OF INSTITUTE: Open letter to the families of the Institute Scarpa PUBLIC LETTER OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF INSTITUTE
Dear Parents,
after statements by the head of the government in recent days against the public school I felt a strong desire to express my outrage both as a parent whose child attends public school and as an elected representative in the Council of the Institute.
In recent times several times and by different parties is to attack public schools, cutting state funding necessary to ensure the functioning of the school, including cuts to teaching staff and support not only reductions in workshops and much more going to significantly affect the quality of training of the school.
All of us in the school board - which includes administrators, teachers, parents, staff ATA - we are committed to continuously guarantee - if it was possible, despite the cuts - the maintenance and enrichment of the training of our Institute. Teachers who have done everything possible to protect their dignity and their professionalism, parents equally determined to support and defend the quality conquered day by day.
collection of signatures, employment, assemblies have been proposed for discussion within the school to inform and raise awareness among parents about what occurred in schools with the intent to awaken a critical consciousness may become dormant.
I still believe in public school quality, and that is why I invite you to support us again and with more determination for the future of our children and all our citizens.
